OSINT Academy (https://os-intelligent.com) is a civilian educational resource teaching the full open-source investigation lifecycle — planning, collection, analysis, and reporting — with an explicit focus on legal and ethical boundaries. It is published by Angel Reyes as part of the Subthesis ecosystem of independent research and accountability properties. OSINT Academy is not a government agency, is not affiliated with law enforcement or intelligence services, does not host or sell investigative tools, and does not issue certifications — it teaches methodology and links out to the public tools practitioners actually use.

## About the author

Angel Reyes is the founder of Subthesis, an independent research practice focused on methodology and legal-document analysis, and the author of the long-form investigative series at Epstein Revealed. He built OSINT Academy to give journalists, academic researchers, and civic investigators a single structured curriculum that treats open-source investigation as a discipline — one with a defined lifecycle, defensible standards of proof, and explicit ethical and legal guardrails — rather than as a loose collection of tool tutorials.
